The ADP1765 is a low-noise, low dropout (LDO) linear regulator. It operates from a single input supply as low as 1.10 V, eliminating the need for an external bias supply to improve efficiency, and delivers up to 5 A of output current (IOUT).
The ADP1765 exhibits a low dropout voltage of 59 mV (typical, 5 A load), enabling operation with minimal headroom while maintaining regulation and delivering higher efficiency.
Optimised for stable operation with a compact 22 μF ceramic output capacitor, the ADP1765 delivers excellent transient response performance while occupying minimal printed circuit board (PCB) area.
The ADP1765 offers fixed output voltages ranging from 0.55 V to 1.5 V. For the adjustable output variant, the output voltage (VOUT) can be set between 0.5 V and 1.5 V via an external resistor connected between VADJ and ground.
