This integrated circuit combines an NFC reader/writer, microcontroller, and software functionality within a single package. Compared to the CTN732, the CTN730EV adds Type 4A tag emulation capability, supporting data transfer rates up to 848 kbit/s. In reader mode, the chip is compatible with all NFC Forum tag types while also supporting Type 4A tag emulation. It is specifically designed for charging applications such as styluses, smart glasses, wearables, and ear-worn devices.
